Very rare and beautiful set of 8 dining chairs by Arne Halvorsen for L. Jacobsen Møbelsnekkeri in 1960.

Arne Halvorsen was for two decades one of Norway's leading furniture designers and interior architects. His furniture is characterized by a well-defined sense of form. 

In 1960, Halvorsen established his own design office. In the same year, he participated in the Industry Council for the Furniture and Interior Industry's chair competition and won first prize for the dining room chair 9 - better known as Jæren. 

This is a real rare set of chairs, in great condition, and they dont come onto the market very often.
